Stanford University senior Lise L‚veill‚ of Burnaby earned an NCAA postgraduate scholarship April 30.
L‚veill‚ earned a 3.73 grade point average in human biology this year, while leading the Cardinal gym team to third-place at the recent NCAA national championships, the program's best-ever showing.
Three to Iran
Burnaby Mountain wrestlers Frank Mensah, Travis Cross and John Pineda, a STM grad, were named to Canada's under-23 men's team for a two-week training camp and tournament in Iran this month.
